Koel Purie was born on November 25, 1978 in Delhi, India. She is daughter of Aroon Purie, the editor-proprietor of leading weekly magazine India Today. Koel appeared opposite Rahul Bose in Vinta Nanda's movie White Noise. Her latest Bollywood movie is Mera Dil leke Dekho.
